 FAQs

  • For the first year of membership, we are aren’t charging any dues or fees to join. We just want to gather a group of like minded folks to ride and hang together. Any future dues will go towards funding events, classes, and organizing rides for members.

  • We would love for you to join us! Please fill out the membership form linked at the bottom of this page, and we’ll get back to you ASAP. If you’ve never hung out or ridden with us, we may ask that you come join us a couple times just so we can get to know you before making your membership official. Please don’t let that stop you from filling out a membership application - we definitely want to know that you’re interested in being a part of Queer Moto Club!

  • We would love for this to be an active club, and we’ve been blown away by the support and turnout for our events so far! We’re asking that you come to something once a season, or 4 times a year minimum. This can be any combination of rides, social hangouts, events, classes etc. We also understand that schedules are busy and unexpected life events can make attendance difficult - we will always reach out and chat with you if we’re noticing you haven’t been around in a while, and do whatever we can to help make things easier for you.

  • If you're riding a motorcycle it must be street legal (licensed and tagged) and you must have your m2 or m3 motorcycle endorsement (not your motorcycle learners permit).

Folks on small scooters & mopeds don't need to worry about the motorcycle license as it's not needed to operate their ride.

  • -No cops
    -No guns during QMC events
    -No reckless riding
-We have a zero tolerance policy for drinking and riding for the safety of everyone in the group
    -No discrimination of any kind

  • Yes absolutely! We will have some slower rides around the city that are scooter/moped friendly and we’d love for you to join!

  • No, we are a riding club and formed QMC to create a space for queer riders and leftist allies that is welcoming and inclusive. We are absolutely not an outlaw or 1% club and want nothing to do with that scene.

QMC is also in the process of becoming a 501c3 with the goal of fundraising to offer motorcycle safety and education for the queer community.
